Accounting Careers for Geeks?

Hello, I have started to get a degree in Accounting and I really like it. However, I'm starting to regret the choice. I think my interpersonal skills deficiency could hurt me in this profession. My question is: Are there any Accounting careers where I could not interact with so many people and be accepted as a geek?

2. Yes! There are plenty of accounting careers where interpersonal skills are less essential. For example, you could work for the Internal Revenue Service or state tax offices or back office accounting jobs in many organizations where you seldom if ever deal with the public.
