Careers with a major in accounting?

Can someone please list some possible careers for an accounting major? My boyfriend has one year left, and is freaking out because he doesn't know if there is anything else really he can have as a career besides being a CPA or whatnot. Thanks :)

1. Defense Contract Auditing Agency Best job in the world for that. Wife is in it now. If he's got the degree...they'll pay for him to get his CPA license.

3. People make the common mistake of thinking that an accounting degree is only good for being a CPA. With an accounting degree, your boyfriend is well-equipped to go into any of the business disciplines (marketing, management, consulting, etc), and he can add value because he's financially literate. He can also go into private accounting (i.e. accounting/finance for a business, not a CPA firm). Real Estate is also an attractive field for people with an accounting education because of the myriad tax issues. Ultimately, he's equipped to do just about anything, although he may need to convince employers that he knows more than just numbers.
