Is Forensic Accounting a good career choice?

I am about to be a high school senior next fall, and I am still researching my career options. I've been considering Forensic Accounting. I am interested in law and like math, and I think Forensic accounting sounds interesting and kind of exciting. What would I need to take in college to prepare for this career track? Is this career in high demand? How is the salary and benefits?
