hi i am working in a export company in a account department?

my problem is i have done my 10+2 science stream graduatio from art and finaly working in a account department. i do all my work independly but my basic concept of accounts are not clear. will anyone suggest me to clear my basic concepts is there any book

1. you can join ica or any other accounting training institute near by or if you are confident that you can understand it by reading book then purchase the book of classXI of CBSE.
2. you can check with accounts house or www.accountshouse.com this will help u out or just go for 1st puc accounts text by B.S Raman
3. If you have no background knowledge of accounts, then it's better to start with books of 11th/ 12th class as it definately usefull as it provides with the basic knowledge on accounting right from classification of accounts, Golden rules of accounting, concept of Debit & Credit, introduction to accounting entry, exrtaction of Trial Balance & preparation of Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss Account etc
